Defending Indigenous Rights and Biodiversity in Panama

How you can support us

At MODETEAB, we are dedicated to defending the rights and territories of the Ngäbe, Buglé, and Campesino communities in Bocas del Toro, Panama. Our grassroots Indigenous organization confronts challenges posed by large-scale development projects that threaten our ancestral lands and ecosystems.

Your contributions are vital to sustaining our efforts in advocating for social and environmental justice. Here’s how you can get involved:

Donate

Financial support enables us to continue our advocacy, cultural preservation, and environmental protection initiatives. Every contribution makes a difference. To make a donation, please visit our donation page.

Spread the word

Follow us on social media, share our stories, and help amplify Indigenous voices. By spreading the word, you can help bring global attention to the struggles and victories of our Ngäbe and Buglé communities. Connect with us on Facebook and YouTube, and share our mission using #MODETEAB.

Media collaboration

We welcome partnerships with journalists and media outlets to amplify the voices of our communities and raise awareness about the issues we face.

Academic research

Researchers focusing on Indigenous rights, environmental conservation, or related fields are invited to collaborate on projects that align with our mission.

Volunteer

We seek experienced bilingual (Spanish/English) grant writers to help secure funding. Responsibilities include researching, compiling, writing, and editing grant applications.

If you’re interested in media collaboration, academic research, volunteering, or have any other questions or inquiries, please email us at modeteab.bocas@gmail.com (Spanish) or modeteab.eng@gmail.com (English).

Together, we can protect the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of western Panama for future generations. Thank you for standing with us!
